Dr Fred Lim has an unique medical background. A graduate of the Middlesex Hospital, University of London in 1971 and a member of the Royal College of Physicians since 1974 he was appointed consultant physician to Kings College Hospital aged 32. He believes the most important part of his training was the time he spent under the guidance of Professor David Dane who had been nominated the Nobel Prize for Medicine for his description of the Hepatitis B virus. His analytical and cautious example guided Dr Fred when he queried the role of other transmissible bacteria and developed treatment to eradicate wart virus DNA, the cause of cervical cancer.
Dr Lim has been named by Tatler as one of Britain's top 250 best private doctors and is cited in Debrett's People of Today. He entered private practice in 1979 and was appointed medical advisor to the President of OPEC and personal physician to several Gulf royal families. During the invasion of Kuwait many estranged families sought his advice for dermatological problems. Already the medical advisor to one of London's top model agencies, Dr Fred was able to assist.
A cosmetic range was created for his patients and after a further 2 years of refinement and described as "Britain's Best Kept Secret" the 7 products are now available.
